Dakota Security Systems, Inc. was founded in 1976. Our company's original focus was with financial institutions and the general public with a retail store selling security equipment, keys and locks. In June of 1992 Jerry Rush, Jr. joined the company and in October of 1993 purchased eighty percent of the stock. The retail division was purged and the commercial division was introduced.
Dakota Security Systems is comprised of two primary divisions, the Financial Division and the Commercial division. Although separate, both divisions have contributed greatly to the success of the company and have paved the way for us to become a leader in the security industry.
